Abstract: the article summarizes the experience of experimental work in the field of 3D capturing and visualization of excavation results conducted by the Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Archeological Research «Artefact» at Tomsk State University. Different tools of stereo visualization providing the presence effect for presentation of archaeological excavations in museum practice are introduced.
